Founded in 2009 by Tim G. Schaefer, Bulwark Protection Services, LLC is a Nebraska-based security company headquartered in Wayne, Nebraska. For more than a decade, Bulwark has provided dependable security and ATM services to businesses, organizations, and events throughout the Midwest.

Early Growth & High-Profile Events

As Bulwark grew, the company built a strong reputation supporting large-scale public and commercial operations. In 2013, Bulwark provided security for VanDerBrink Auctions and OP Services, LLC during the nationally recognized Lambrecht Chevrolet auction in Pierce, Nebraska, held in conjunction with the History Channel. The event drew more than 15,000 attendees and featured appearances by Top Gear personalities.

Bulwark has also provided security services for a wide range of corporate, municipal, and private clients, including the Wayne County Fair, Stanton County Fair, and Cuming County Fair.

ATM Services & Financial Infrastructure Support 

In addition to security operations, Bulwark Protection Services provides comprehensive ATM services, including permanent ATM placements and temporary deployments for special events. These services support businesses, venues, and public events by ensuring reliable access to cash in both fixed and high-traffic environments. Bulwark’s ATM operations include placement coordination, monitoring, servicing, and event-specific deployment planning. Transition to Static & Facility Security (2024)

In 2024, Bulwark Protection Services strategically expanded its operations to focus on static security and fixed-site protection. This transition allowed the company to support long-term security needs for factories, office buildings, data centers, campuses, and other critical facilities. These roles emphasize consistency, accountability, and a strong on-site presence to safeguard people, property, and operations.

Expansion into Civil Patrol & Municipal Services

Building on its operational experience, Bulwark has expanded its capabilities to provide civil patrol services for municipalities. These patrols are designed to enhance public safety through visible presence, proactive monitoring, and coordination with local stakeholders.

In addition, Bulwark is completing the required intergovernmental and contractual agreements necessary to deliver authorized contracted law enforcement services to participating municipalities.
