GUARD RESPONSIBILITIES
Clock in/Out - Until Guard Tour Tracking is set up at this location, clocking in and out will be done via the Homebase app. GPS locations are recorded, so ensure that you are at the office when clocking in/out
*Anything that is to be logged in the app will be logged on paper DAR and photos/video sent to the site supervisor

Before starting your shift, address any issues that occurred prior to your arrival. Ensure these issues are recorded in the app and provide video or Photo evidence whenever possible.

Conduct a thorough property patrol by scanning each checkpoint and updating your daily activity report with any findings. Also, fill out client temp/door logs. Record any abnormal or unusual activities If you come across any maintenance issues, please take pictures and document them along with notifying the on-site maintenance person if on duty.
General Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain a visible and professional presence to discourage criminal activity.

Monitor and control access to the premises, permitting only authorized personnel.

Maintain accurate visitor and vendor sign-in/out log sheets according to clients' requirements.

Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to identify and prevent security breaches.
-
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action.
-
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients when necessary.

Accurately document all incidents, observations, and activities in a detailed manner.
Trailer Pickup/Drop off

If picking up the trailer, the driver must have the Purchase Order Number (PO). This number is written or printed on the top of the bill of lading.

Have the driver ensure that the seal number matches what is written on the bill of lading for both copies.

Show the driver where the trailer is located using the map and have him pick it up. You can give him a key to remove the padlock or go out and do it yourself. Wait to give him the seal or paperwork until you receive the padlock.

England and Prime, you need a driver's License number logged on the clipboard. If unsure, get information for all drivers.

Warehouse Loads

Have them fill out a form on Clipboard

Fill out the Warehouse Check-in Log

Advise Warehouse of drop off or live load.

“Live load” means trailer is being loaded/unloaded and leaving with the same trailer.

“Online” means the trailer is parked out back in line with the others

Trailer Check
-
Each refer unit needs to have its temperatures checked every 2 hours, fuel checked every 4 hours, and locks checked every 4 hours.
-
Refer units are to be set at -20F and should never raise above 0. The unit temps may rise due to high outside temps or defrosting the units. If temps are above -10, contact maintenance. (IF the trailer was just loaded may take some time to get to temp but keep a close watch on it so as not to increase)

If a trailer is not running write NR under temp.

If the trailer has been picked up and is gone, write Gone on the line

For fuel, round to the nearest â…› or nereat ¼ and write + or - to indicate what side of that it is one

If the trailer is locked, place a check column labeled LSC
Wastewater Meter

Log the wastewater meter reading around 6 p.m. nightly. The meter is on the right.
Temperature/Gauge Check/Door Check
-
Every 2 Hours Check all doors and Garages on the Check sheet.
Pressure Gauges
-
Check and log pressure gauges in the Maintenance room daily at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. If anything is outside the target zone, notify maintenance.
